Grace Zakariah, known by her stage name “Gracious Swanta,” is a contemporary gospel singer who was born on November 30th, 2000. She hails from Zango Kataf Local Government in Kaduna State, Nigeria, and is the youngest of four children born to Mr. and Mrs. Zakariah Adamu. Gracious Swanta attended Maranatha College in Trikania, Kaduna State for her secondary education, and in 2018, she began studying for her Bachelor’s degree at the prestigious Usman Danfodiyo University in Sokoto. Additionally, she is a young entrepreneur with a keen interest in fashion design.

Gracious Swanta’s passion for music began at an early age, and she honed her skills singing in her secondary school chapel and church choir. She later advanced her musical career by providing vocals for some of Kaduna State’s most prominent gospel singers, as well as covering some popular gospel songs.

Gracious Swanta officially launched her music career in January 2020 with the release of her debut single “Christ in Me.” Later that year, she joined “Praise Music House,” a group of exceptional singers owned by Minister Kelvin Praise. With the help of her family and other key figures, Gracious Swanta’s musical journey has been an inspiring one.
